Chief Executive Officer (Exempt)

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) works with the Board of Directors to establish the vision and carry out the mission of Decatur Health. S/he provides leadership, strategic guidance and management direction for the overall operation of Decatur Health and will be responsible for its strategic development, operational, financial and clinical performance as well as patient, provider and employee satisfaction. 

The CEO serves as the key resource to the Board of Directors, with his/her primary emphasis focused on the provision of quality, patient-centered care; planning for growth and the achievement of long- and short-term goals, proactive communication with all audiences; provider and board relations and engagement; community, volunteer and employee relations and engagement.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business or related field required.

  • Minimum of five years of management experience required, healthcare preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred (MHA/MBA/MPH/MS).
